Thanks so much for your personal sharing of your time in Lakeland. I’ve been watching it via the internet and it is just amazing what God is doing there (and via the oupouring).
In relation to the falling under the power: I’ve had my share of these experiences, but many times they have been curtosy falls. Afterwards, I usually have a great time on the floor.
So I usually feel that the falling, in itself, is not the blessing, but the receptive attitude and the time spent with God on the floor.
There was one meeting in which an Anglican priest was laying hands on people. I wasn’t expecting to fall, in fact since he wasn’t demonstrative and not quite my political persuasion, I wasn’t too impressed by him.
I closed my eyes, raised my hands, and tried to be receptive. He placed his hands on each side of my face and thought ok, and then a split moment later felt this overwhelming love coming from this man. I just couldn’t help but fall feeling this great love.
Well, God showed me. This guy knew how to flow in God’s love and He proved to me. May God bless Canon Andrew White & his ministry.
