I want to know what Beer Louie’s drinking

Since you’re the one who led me astray in my early 30’s, I’ll name my favorite of all time: Chimay. It’s bottled in Belgium by Trappist Monks and there is nothing like it, nothing. It’s $10 a bottle so I drink about one a year…but what a year it will be after a Chimay. Kudos to Jim Shok for turning me on to my most catholic of influences.

Hmmmmmmm…..the popularity of Oasis-Wauseon revealed: Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee on Sunday mornings and a tap in the basement with Chimay. It’s all coming together for me now.

Chimay: “Here, in this heaven of peace and silence where since 1850 Trappist monks have dedicated their life to God, products are made which, in themselves, gladden the heart of man.” Amen Brother.

BTW, I just put my house on the market and will be relocating to NW OH immediately!

I guess inquiring about your favorite cigar might be taking it a bit far?

Have you missed me Lou?

Missed you? Did you leave? :) By the way, the Chimay byline needs to be on a t-shirt. And, I haven’t smoked cigars for 10 years. I’m too old now. The smoke BUGS me. :) But, in my day, I liked Macanuda mighty fine. Cubans you ask? Very overrated and their tobacco, like the country’s political landscape, was very undependable and inconsistent. The DR’s crops were far more consistent on a yearly crop basis.

Well fellers…i know this conversation happened over the summer months, so I am a lil late…but there is nothing like a Montechristo #2 or a Davidoff of somesort with a cup of seatttle best’s morning blend in the evening or in place of seattle, a glass…bottle of Shlitz…just kidding, a bottle worstiner (spelling?).
